El 24 de junio de 1947 se estrello un ovni en roswell en los E.U.A , donde despues de explicaciones del gobierno todo fue un mal entendido.
La historia comienza con Asaba Naoyuki cuando en el ultimo dia de sus vacaciones va ha nadar a su escuela de noche, alli se encuentra con una chica a la cual le enseña a nadar hasta q un hombre con traje se la lleva. Al dia siguiente la misma chica llega al salon de Asaba y se entera que se llama Iriya Kana.
Despues de un tiempo se da cuanta de que Iriya proviene de una base militar donde se dice que se ven OVNIs y es estudiada por el club al que pertenece Asaba y su amiga Akiko.
Despues de un simulacro en su escuela Asaba se entera de la ocupacion de Iriya en la base, piloteando una nave llamada Black Manta haciendo que Iriya se desgaste fisica y emocionalmente probocabdo que Asaba le de todo su apollo para que deje de ir a la base y de piloterar el black manta.
On the last day of the summer break, Asaba Naoyuki sneaked into the school pool at night. Then, he met a mysterious girl, Iriya Kana, who embedded a shiver ball in her wrist.
When the next term began, Iriya transferred to Asaba’s class.
She seemed to have trouble in communicating to others, but she opened her mind to Asaba, and she began to have good terms with him through the school lives. However, she was frequently called by the teachers, and she sometimes made strange reactions.
Every time she caught the trouble, Enomoto, a mysterious man in black suit appeared. Did she have a destiny she couldn’t escape from and a serious assignment?
The mysteries of an important military base city, Sonohara, and UFO incident that the school newspaper was pursuing, were come to light through the existence of a special fighter “Black Manta”, the pilot of the plane, and a guard unit.
Now, Iriya and Asaba’s heart-rending “UFO summer” begins…
